    hey all,

I'm heading up north of the Conway area (Jackson) this weekend for some camping and was hoping to grab some NH centric brews, particularly Schilling once I'm there. Are they widely available and/or is there a particular store in the Conway area that is worth a special stop?

Recommendations for lesser known NH brews that I might run into are welcome too.

    Thanks much!

Vista bev is decent. They had some Schilling when I stopped in as well as other NH brews like Concord, 603, Moat Mountain, etc.

I really liked Concord’s Safe Space. Would avoid most Moat Mountain, although I like their Brown Ale. Haven’t tried 603, but seen some positive reviews on WBAYDN.

Conway is a bit of a beer desert IMHO. Agree that Vista bev is ok. Discount Beverages near Walmart is ok too. None of the places I go to regularly have taplists that are exciting.

Moat's beers are solid but nothing special. The food at the restaurant is pretty good especially after a day of skiing or hiking.

If you're heading up 95 to Route 16, I would encourage a stop at Stoneface which is easy on/easy off in Newington, NH. It's the best brewery in NH in my opinion.

Not sure where you are in MA, but if I93 is your route you will drive by Tilton, where Kettlehead is. They usually have cans available. Great food if you want a lunch break during drive.

Also, if you take I93 to Rt 302 as your route, Schilling won’t be too far out of your way if you wanted to make a quick stop.

Schilling cans are pretty common at decent retail locations. If you do go to Schilling, the Littleton Coop has a decent beer selection.

Canterbury Ale Works is a fun spot you could drive by also.

I agree with the post above mentioning Concord Safe Space. They often have cans of their brews available at retail locations.

Thanks for the info folks. Vista Bev turned out to be just the ticket for my needs this time since I drove right past it. Thumbs up on Schilling's 4.5% lager and Northwoods Coffee Porter. Impressive selection for a place that looks like nothing from the outside.

Other suggestions are banked for future use!
