The Mrs. and I are going to be in town tomorrow-Saturday and are looking for a place to watch the UK game Friday night (around 7:45). We are staying on Pearl and was thinking of hitting up West End Tavern, but are there any other places near downtown that will be good for watching NCAA games that also has great beer selections? Thanks!
A buddy told me about that place as well. It may well be our destination. Does it get terribly crowded on a Friday (trying to gauge how early we need to get there)? Thanks!
It can get crowded, but it's a huge place. Big screens in the dining room and tons of TVs throughout the bar area with high top seating, booths, tables etc. It's one of the best draught lists in Colorado. Don't overthink it, you only have a few days to experience Boulder. This is your "session" spot
