Quick question for Cali

    Is Mike Hess Brewing in Miramar commonly referred to as "Mike Hess Brewing" or simply "Hess Brewing"?

    Hess. They had to officially change the name due to a winery.

    It was originally "Hess Brewing" (last name of the owner, Mike Hess) however, he had to change the name, due to a cease & desist he got from Hess Winery (no relation) so it is now called, officially "Mike Hess Brewing"

    Thanks for the info! So officially its Mike Hess Brewing, but still colloquially referred to as Hess Brewing. Makes sense. Thanks fellas!

    Yes - the usually accurate Sage seems to have it backwards.
