Has anyone trade for one of these lately, I just need this one to complete the set so I figure why not. Now I just need some info and such.
I haven't traded for one lately, but I do know this was way more available than any of the sours (VSB, Gueuze, BB Kriek, Sour Ale) since it wasn't brewery-only. At one period in time, it sat on shelves in one store in Milwaukee for several months before selling out. Also, has taken a turn for the worse IMO (taking on a bandaid-like flavor now). I wouldn't think it's very hard to trade for, but maybe most bottles are gone at this point and it takes a little more than it used to. If you don't end up getting the Golden Ale, your set isn't missing too much - sort of like if you exclude the R&D Two Women, which was great when it came out but probably would not have held up over this period of time since its release. Just my thoughts - have fun with the tasting!
