Racer 5 1/6 barrel kegs - date coded?

    Buying one - seller says there is no date. Question is - is this BS? Most kegs I have purchased in the past from other breweries are date coded. Anyone have a pic of a keg topper of Racer 5?

    Sure does look that way...(what's the point of initialing it, otherwise?).

    Thanks! I'll take a look - it seems in that "INITIAL" box there should be a stamp.

    There is usually a date stamp that will tell when it was put into the keg.
