I assume you're talking about bottles. My understanding is that the initial release will only be distributed in NorCal. If memory serves, I believe that release took place last spring or early summer. My understanding is that Bear Republic plans to do a more widespread release of X, probably some time next year. I spoke to Robert at State Line briefly about the bottle release over the summer, and he had not heard anything about getting bottles in the forseeable future (though he was excited at the prospect, understandably). Sorry, that's all I know. In terms of kegs, Racer X had been distributed on occassion in Md, but it's extremely rare. I think Baltimore got a few kegs when Bear Republic first came into the state some years ago. Also, I know Casey from Max's visited the brewpub several years ago, and complained about the lack of X in Maryland. Shortly after he got back, I believe 5 kegs came into Baltimore (brewer's cask and alewife had it on tap briefly, as well as Max's). Casey mentioned that he always orders it when he orders Bear Republic beers (it's on the order list, apparently), but the distributor almost never fills the order. Someday...
Yep, talking about bottles. Mass got it last Friday so I was wondering if anyone heard how far behind we are. http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/bear-republic-racer-x-dipa-22-oz-bomber-sighting.47562
