^ Speaking of Italian delis, Glorioso's, https://www.facebook.com/GloriososItalianMarket/ in Milwaukee's Brady district is excellent. Unfortunately, they had a fire recently and are still in the process of remodeling/repairing. https://urbanmilwaukee.com/2025/12/21/now-serving-gloriosos-delays-reopening/ Normally, starting Dec 1, their Christmas Italian sausage first appears in the meat case. My wife and I annually make a pilgrimage from Chicago to get some.

Thanks for mentioning Tenuta's, @VinHalen54. Haven't heard of it before. We'll have to check it out!

Name dropped in post #5 -- along with Ron's across the street for a great Black & Blue Burger.

You need to get to Tailwinds. The only place even worthy of talking about beer-wise near Racine.

Can’t stand Oakfire for pizza. It’s only good for a beer on the upper deck overlooking the lake. The Pub or Pinos (if it still exists) or that little joint in Fontana by the Post Office would be my pick, although haven’t even been back to LG since 2020.

We went to Public Brewing in Kenosha today and was thoroughly impressed. Not sure how often we will get down there after we move into the house this week, but definitely a solid spot.

If you mean Nextdoor Pub for pizza, I'm right there with you. Their other menu items are pretty tasty, too.
