    From KSTP.com:

    Crews have responded to a fire at Rahr Malting Company’s malt production plant in Shakopee.

    The fire was reported around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday after firefighters in Scott County received a call for a “hot wall” at the location.

    The company produces and distributes malt and industry-related brewing supplies. According to the company’s website, the Shakopee facility is the company’s headquarters and is the largest single-site malt producer in the world. The facility has five individual malthouses, four Saladin units and one tower. It's located on the 800 block of First Avenue West.

    Thats too bad. I did lawn maintenance for Mr Rahr years ago and he was pretty cool. He has some Awesome property on the river not too far from there. Hopefully thay get back up and malting soon.
