Going up to Lake George in two weeks and there's a great local beer bar there that has this on tap with 10 ounce pours. Love DFH beers, but never had this. What can I expect from experienced drinkers regarding this beer? Especially if you have enjoyed on tap.... 18.5% ABV.... Thanks, guys!!

Sweet, dark fruits, some earthy spice, and a little boozy, but not too boozy. I had a small sample on draft last week and it was just as enjoyable as the bottle. If you have tried fresh 120, the level of booziness is about the same.

What larryi86 said is pretty spot on. I love this beer aged, the longer the better if you can find a bottle or two.

Alcohol soaked raisins. Not as boozy as you would think, but it's still a powering taste.

Nice rich, sweet, English quality... but it's just too much.

It's delicious, but to reiterate, WAY better with a few years on it. Dark fruits out the ass. I have a bottle from 2007 still and bought a case when it was released again late last year.

It is pretty damn awesome, I'll agree with everyone, but a full 10oz might hurt just a little bit.
