Yeah, yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should.

Was talking to someone about this at my bar earlier tonight, place is going to be massive, cant even begin to imagine undertaking an install and upkeep on a draft system like that.

Cool concept, but I still can't imagine how they'll turn over all those kegs. Especially with so many other watering holes around. Hate to be the guy/gal that has to clean those draft lines.

No doubt they'll be contracted out and professionally cleaned, but turning over kegs will be a major problem. 144 local kegs- of what? There's a few interesting but not a 144. I'll have to check it out though.

Going to be interesting to hear the initial reviews of this place, I'll probably give it a whirl pretty soon as it's really close to me. To say that I'm skeptical of it would be a big understatement.

I will be in Raleigh the first weekend of August, and I plan on stopping by.
Good thing is I won't have to second guess how long a particular beer has been on tap.

366 taps is a novelty. I predict an underwhelming list... kind of like Flying Saucer on steroids.

Cool looking place on the face book , I will be going for sure. Heard they are having high gravity up stairs, and alot of rated beers there.

just guessing but, there might be a requirement due to the amount they have.

Maybe so. I wouldn't have thought the locale would be a big draw for the BMC crowd, but maybe they're targeting it more as a group hangout place (and they'll probably need a number of groups to fill that place up), so need the BMC beers to make sure everyone has an option.

With that many taps, they probably felt pressured to just order everything. Someone mentioned that the owner was considering going heavy on sixtels to ensure better keg turnover; I really hope that's the case. Otherwise they are essentially guaranteeing old beer.

I wish more new places would advertise "30-40 taps, well curated and thought out," instead of just adding a million taps.

That was my issue when visiting WOB for the first time. Now granted most of their selection is bottles but still, the options were just overwhelming. It's like going to the cheesecake factory and viewing their 40-page menu.

It looks super pedestrian to me.
A bunch of year round offerings, minimal seasonals, and I didn't see anything I would classify as Limited.

144 NC taps with 0 NoDa and only 1 Wicked Weed? That's really weak.

A lot of the local stuff on there is stuff that I just have no desire to drink. But if I ever want to drink a bunch of mediocre beers in one place, this would be the place to go.
