I say we return to speaking about Raleigh Beer Week and move on from this fruitless conversation - thx.

Yep, my bad folks didn't mean to derail the thread. I try to ignore the trolls, but sometimes get sucked in despite my best efforts. I'll sit the rest of this one out, y'all enjoy.

Totally understand and not a problem - just it is Tuesday and we are about halfway thru the week : )

I saw that Trophy is releasing Double Lutz on Sunday at 2pm, Maywood location. @Woodrow since you seem to be our local Trophy representative here, any idea on the can/case count on this one or limits?

Also, I noticed you all posted on Instagram your new bottle caps. Does that mean we will see Heavyweight Champ soon?

Where did I say that your opinion didn't matter! I love your opinion! All I said was that you are citing unnamed awesome beers brewed in Raleigh, but that in looking at your ratings, I'm not seeing those beers. Look at my ratings and you'll see the same thing. My first Raleigh beer is about 1/3 way down my list, and it's a one-off from Big Boss. We're on the same team here, buddy!

PS, DB Zhukov was somewhat disappointing. Don't trade for it.

I'm excited for tomorrow's Busy Bee event. I always love me some Terrapin goodness.

Will let you know on Double Lutz after we get thru canning and see what kind of yield we get. We're new to canning and going the mobile route right now. Will be doing a lot more once our line is in place in the next couple of months.

As for bottles, look for Brandy Barrel Aged Lombardi Quad and Heavyweight Champ within the next 2 months!

Will Double Lutz be on draft to try before buying cans?

I had never heard of this until now. Also they have a double barrel version? I'd love to track one of these down. Thanks for putting it on my radar!

Double barrel will be hard. Bottle count was 415 IIRC, and brewery only during thier anniversary party. Personally it was my favorite, really an amazing beer.

Hopefully some Cycle, CCB El Cat, or Angry Chair stouts will reign one in

The regular dining room for the Angus Barn is nothing special (in my opinion) - not bad just not great. If you ever get the chance to eat a private meal in the Wine Cellar, it is much better (there are some public open events and private hosted events there).

Maybe Angus Barn should have hosted a RBW event?

I enjoy the lodge area or whatever the hell it is at angus barn, free food during happy hour and a bunch of rich horny cougars. Oh and no shitty local beer! lol
