Raleigh NC Bottle Shops and Breweries

    My good friends dad is coming down from Raleigh NC and i wanted him to pic me up some brews we can't get in Florida. Any recommendations on bottle shops and breweries in the area. The styles I love at Impy Stouts, Barley wines, Old Ales, Sour and Brett fermented ales, Hoppy brett beers and of course I prefer all these barrel aged but i do not descrimintae. Any recommendation?

    Sours? Just load up on Wicked Weed Serenity and Genesis, which are sitting around currently. Bretticent will satisfy your other want. You're not going to find much seasonal dark beer right now, but some local pumpkin stuff is hitting retail as well.

    Olde Hickory's Imperial Stout is damn good and shouldnt(???) be hard to find in that area along with Irish Walker

    For bottle shops I suggest Ridgewood Wine & Beer, Bottle Revolution, Tasty Beverage, and Tyler's Bottle Shop.

    Ridgewood still has Irish Walker, and the price is good as well.

    Ridgewood, Bottle Rev, and Tasty are the best 3 by far. RW will also pretty much always have the best price on bottles.
