Have a co-worker heading to Raleigh this weekend (6/7-6/9) - what/where should she be looking for some good juice we can't here in the RVA? She is willing to bring some Hardywood down as well (BB Cru, Hoplar and Saison Rustica in bombers now) Cheers Andrew
As far as shops, I would definitely check out Bottle Revolution. They have a great selection (particularly of NC stuff), and the staff is awesome. Tasty Beverage and Ridgewood are also options. I would stop by Trophy Brewing, which is a small nano-brewery that is doing good work. They do 32 oz. growler pours. Big Boss, Lone Rider, and Raleigh Brewing Company might also be worth the stop if she has time. As far as beer bars, I would check out Busy Bee downtown... other options are Tyler's Taproom and Raleigh Times.
Excellent - I will get the address on Bottle Revolution so she can plug it in her GPS. Might have to Face Time her when she gets in so I can see what they have. Thanks!
You're welcome. I'll definitely let you know if I'm in RVA Hit me up if you're in Raleigh and we'll grab a brew.
If she makes it into the Bee or Trophy just let me know....we'd be happy to trade some growlers or beers for some Hardywood!
Oh hell no - love FW, even thou we get bare minimum when it comes to the special releases. Drive isn't that far...
if she makes it up to Durham, I can show her around Durham. Im always looking for ANOTHER excuse to go to the breweries in Durham/Chapel Hill.
