I hear you. Peeps, by nature, will want to get back in line anyway.

Amazes me people will spend so much money on freakin beer let alone wait in ridiculous lines multiple times to ensure they can get as much as they can get their hands on

$15 a bomber, or $30 for 2 isn't a bad amount. At the Juicy release, the line was minimal around 11:45. It comes down to a really good, sought after product and event in the suburbs, making it more accessible for a lot of people, IMO.

It amazes you that people who obsess about beer are willing to pay up and do some leg work to get sought-after releases?

I guess it amazes me you post on here so much then!

I don't want to speak for him but I think he was referring to people who double dip (waiting in line and then waiting in line again). In the case of this release it's likely folks may even triple dip or more possibly. It's all about beercoin. These double and triple dippers are in all likelihood loading up on beer to trade, resell, etc. It seems like this place is encouraging the practice so traders gotta do what they gotta do. They bring a buddy with them and they've just about got a case of bottles. It's a no brainer for them.

Yeah, I was referring to the people who were walking out with 1-2 cases of Juicy from the last release. The price point is fine for a 4 pack. Multiplied by 6-12 packs though? That's just silly.

So, who's going to the release tomorrow? I've been to two Juicy releases, as I really like that beer but haven't gone to any releases for the stouts.

I'll be there. Hoping whatever side note is on tap lasts more than an hour or so.

My plan is to get there at 8 am. Last Side Note I arrived at 9 am, but these keep growing so game plans will have to be adjusted. I'll be sitting in a blue chair if anyone wants to sip on some No Rules, de Garde or Double Daisy Cutter.

I recall reading somewhere (maybe earlier in this thread) that for the last release people were lining up around the 8-9am time frame.

I lined up at 930 last release and was about half way down the side of the building. I was still in the 2 bottle part but not by much.

I'm gonna be getting there pretty early. Not sure what time yet.

From what I heard, people started lining up as early as 6am for the last release.

Is bottle sharing permitted at these releases? Going to try and hit it up tomorrow.

Wow, that is way more than the Juicy release. The line never got much more than halfway around the building at its longest point. :grimacing:
