http://ramirezliquor.com/store/ Any idea what kind of releases they are doing for this? 11:30am opening it appears and this is the first I'm seeing anything about it since I just moved to California.
If it was like the Olympic location grand opening they'll pull stuff out for sale that wasn't available Pre opening. Last time the celler posted they had cantillon botles but said it was for onsite consumption only.
For the Ramirez liquor store they opened in April, they released a lot of Cantillion, Firestone, Bruery beers. They had some Russian River and lost abby too. can't remember all of it but they had a lot of good beers
Yeah, I thought they already did the grand opening for this place when they had a bunch of Cantillion bottles for on-site consumption only. Probably gonna save it up for their black friday sales.
Not a lot of people in line, though some line cutting is starting. Bcbs 2013 on tap as well as some others
Not a bad place. Talked to the Ramirez ppl. Found out they are getting 200 cases total of bcbs, bcbcs, bcvs
The cantillon went fast, but not insanely fast. I got there at 10, expected to see a line of at least 50 people ( based on liquor Marts cellar sale ) was surprised to be 7th in line. They opened a little late, closer to noon. First guy in line was given a nice stone arrogant bastard light. Second guy in line got a free large bottle of cantillon ( didn't see which variant) . They let small groups in so that it wasn't a mad house, it was limit of one bottle of each beer. I got 4 small bottles of cantillon, as well as a large iris. My buddy was like 25th or so in line, 3rd group let in, he still got 4 small cantillon, so it didn't fly off the shelf. They also had singles of bcbs,bcbw, bccs, 6 bucks each. Plenty of pliny, bomb, cascade's, Eclipse, and all kinds of other goodies. Overall it was a great selection, and i felt like it was ran better than liquor Marts cellar sale a few weeks ago. Also 2013 bcbs keg was drinking smooth. Fw agrestic was good stuff as well.
