What are you talking about? Sierra Nevada just fairly recently decided to release Bigfoot in four packs. Before then, it's always been in six packs.

Well aged over a year and a half they charge more, right? I thought that was normal for beers that improve with age.

Fair point, man. I'll start drinking shitty old IPA, because hey, it's just beer, who cares.

Maybe, but jacking the price for a single year back is uncool. We regularly have this year and last year's Bigfoot locally on the shelf.

Nice find! I didnt care for Rampant so I wouldn't have bought it, but if you like it then I think you made out like a bandit.

You're right. I'm glad we could agree sans douchebaggery. Because hey, it truly is just beer.

I thought the same thing about this beer.
I would buy an almost old IPA if the price/situation was right. Just not this one.

Morel of the story, you have a place that cares enough about their customers to be real. Most stores will see you bought an expired IPA and try to add on that banana nestle quick they got with that beer shipment.

Rampant’s not my cup of tea but hey with its ABV you won’t taste it after a few anyways, great grab for the circumstance. The delivery man from the Miller High Life TV commercials would be proud.

I have had Artic Panzer Wolf and Heady Topper that was 6 months old. Taste was 90%. Good enough for me! There is a soldier in a hole in Afghanistan that would love an IPA that is 1 year old, so count your blessings!!! I love the "old IPA" argument. Get over yourself!!!!

My six pack tonight was very good. I enjoyed it, even though it does pretty much taste like Ranger (Ranger is good). A review will come...
