I'm visiting from out of state and would love to grab some Ramstein winter wheat to bring back home. As far as I can tell from their website, their distro is northern NJ. Anything in or near Monmouth county?

    Thanks for any tips.

Ritchie & Page (AB house which cover Monmouth and other Central & South Jersey counties) currently claims they distribute Ramstein but I haven't seen in on any shelves in several years.

In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to see a draught Ramstein lager (don't recall the name now) on tap just north of Monmouth County in East Brunswick the other day (which would have been a High Grade account) at Gusto Grill.

If there is a Total Wine nearby, they carry Ramstein (at least the one in Bergen County does).

I was able to pick up some Winter Wheat at the brewery a couple of weeks ago, $5/bottle. Haven't seen it in any of the liquor stores I go to that carry Ramstein.

You're unlikely to get the Winter Wheat in bottles without going to the brewery. I've had it on draft in the Philly area but when I tried a couple of times to order a case of bottles it didn't work. The word I got back from the Brewery was that they are selling it all in keg and have only bottled a few cases for the last few years. While this was a year or two ago I don't think the situation has changed. But their other beers are well worth carrying back if you do find bottles. Never had one that I didn't think was an excellent example of the their style.
