A buddy of mine recently brought me two East Coast beers that I can't get my hands on here that were TOP notch.

Mother Earth's Tripel Overhead(Bourbon barrel Aged Tripel that reminded me of BA Naked Evil)
Blue Mountain Brewery's Dark Hollow(Bourbon barrel aged RIS that was ridiculously smooth)

I don't know if this qualifies as a random beer, but it was a random choice for me to drink, and enjoy thoroughly, a Sam Adams Chocolate Bock. It's a style I would not have normally chosen.

My Wife is the greatest in the world. She's always finding new IPAs to bring home. Another home run for a beer I had never heard of.....ironically She loves it too, and She doesn't like beer.

I might be the only one in Texas, but Saint Arnold's Santo is fantastic. It doesn't get much hype or notice, but it's a malty sweet brew.

And if Brooklyn's Summer Ale counts as "random," count me in on it. So good!
