Random logouts

    It seems like I always get logged out of the site after just a few minutes... happens somewhat randomly. I use Chrome and don't have this issue on other forums, so just thought I would point it out. Edit: when I tried to post this, I got the pop-up message "you must be logged in to do that"... haha.

    I had similar incidents a couple years ago and started a thread on this issue. At the time i was using a fairly old desktop that I had just upgraded to Windows 8.1 and I thought the slow pc with new operating system, or a slow Internet connection were likely culprits. Todd advised to be sure to check the 'Stay Logged In' box when signing into the site. (This is something I still don't do as a matter of habit because I sign off after each tour around my favorite places on the site.) However, just this past week it happened to me a couple times, so I checked the box each time I logged back in and had no problem the rest of that session. Maybe it has something to do with the high demand on this popular site?

    Highly unlikely. The site issues a cookie and then will ask for the cookie. If for some reason the cookie doesn't exists on your end, errors like this will occur.
