I know, I know. But I want this to be good. I noticed though that they were prepping berries to put in barrel? two days ago on Facebook. Today they are bottling it. I hope the base beer isn't that Flanders that they brewed.

lmao...there's some pretty strong hate for RC on these forums. I don't think I've tried a single beer from them.

I really liked their BBA smoked porter. Was lucky enough to drink a few that were not...dare I say the "I" word....

In before "all their beers are infected, so how is This supposed to be different" or some such.

All the Small Batch beers I've had have been pretty good fresh. They should stop saying that they will age well. My concern for this release is that it seems like they added berries and three days later, they bottle it. Was hoping someone might have volunteered and has some more info about it.

All their beers are infected, so how is this supposed to be different?

I'm going to refill one of my Nocturn Chrysalis bottles with this and take it to a bottle share just to hear how "good it is".

Only 3 days? There is no way you can get really any complex fruit flavors. Do you know for sure it's a sour?

No one gives Ranger Creek shit because their beers are bad, but because they had/have a QC problem and when confronted about it tried to brush it under the rug and told people they didn't know what they were talking about. That's not the kind of company people want to patronize.

I opened one yesterday evening. I did not taste any blackberry and it wasn't very good at all, not sour or funky, really just bland. I paid just under 10$.

So their beers that aren't supposed to be sour turn out that way, and the one that is supposed to be sour actually isn't. I think Ranger Creek is working the long con on all of us.
