Has anyone had issues with this beer being overcarbed? Yeah, yeah I know their MSP is infamous for that issue, but ive never had that on the LaBestia. Hopefully it's an isolated incident. This beer is a staple in my fridge.

I would contact the brewery and give them the batch # so they know.

At the moment, Ranger Creek no longer brews La Bestia Aimable. Initially it was a 750ml, moved to 4pk-12oz and then dropped. Information was that LBA was too costly for what they were getting out of it.

Agreed, it was/is a favorite. I've been told we may see it again at some point.

All that said, I've had bottles that were over carbonated, yes. I do my best to stay out of the business of talking much about these sorts of issues, there's enough out there to do that. I've always taken the approach of pulling it out of the fridge as cold as possible, cracking immediately over a sink with glass ready. I've not had any issues that have detracted from my love of the beer.

Decision was/has already been made...I feel the same way and may have whined enough for all of us. Like I said, the beer isn't dead. Look at it more as retirement...it sounds like they have some really fun, exciting plans!

I've had mixed bottles from a 2011 batch recently. some had oxidation issues the others drank perfectly.

I would definitely consider it the only standout beer they have done. Knowing Ranger Creeks quality control issues over carbonation on a batch isn't something I would put past them.

I found some on the shelf yesterday. New packaging, same great taste. I filled the fridge up. Go me!

A friend of mine was at RC a couple weeks ago, and they had it on tap. He said it was the best thing there.

Anyone know if they reworked the recipe and released it again?

As far as I know the recipe hasn't changed, but I could be wrong about that. I have yet to try the new batch, but I'm definitely looking forward to it.

It was a bit under-carbed, if I had to nit-pick. But I always loved this beer and it didn't disappoint.
