    Hahaha!!! So Ranger Creek made a sour on purpose. It's a Flanders Red. I've defended Ranger Creek, so I can't wait to try this one. Flame away ;-)

    I guess they figured it would be sour anyway, so might as well do it intentionally so no one can complain. Well done, RC (wont be trying this, though, since once again I recently had to drain pour a MSP that smelled like wet garbage in the bottle :slight_frown: )



    Edit - at a tasting we had last week, there was a Redd's Apple Ale and a Small Batch #1 on the table at the same time. People went for the Apple Ale first. Just saying.....

    I will laugh so hard when this isn't sour at all! That said I am looking forward to try and hope for the best.

    Depends on the price point, although I still can't see myself really supporting them. Its hard to support a brewery that has consistently had problems with their beer and then rather then saying they made a mistake or something could have happened we don't know, they basically said we were lying and we don't know what we're talking about.

    I used to buy a few bottles from every batch of La Bestia. I haven't since SB4, nor will I.

    I did laugh when I saw that this one is supposed to be sour.

    the kickstarter bothered me less then the other stuff. If they want to create a Kickstarter fine by me I don't have to 'donate' to it. But the customer service is what pissed me off.

    I haven't had any issues with Ranger Creek beers. I'll buy a couple bottles depending on he price. If they're gonna charge $8, they can forget about it, I'll go buy a 750ml of Rodenbach Grand Cru for close to the same price.

    Since they don't put the style on the label, they can just decide on it at the last minute! $5 says it started life as a BA red ale or something.
