Only the breweries you have tried before, then discuss.

Jester King > Deep Ellum > Freetail > (512) > Austin Beerworks > Live Oak > Real Ale > Southern Star > Saint Arnold > Independence

Deep Ellum is slowly becoming my favorite brewery however.

Karbach is Texas' worst brewery until they send some to Austin. I hear they brew with fish bladders and soy sauce.

So you'd put No Label ahead of all those breweries? Interesting. What have you tried that makes you say this?

Jester King > Freetail > Saint Arnold

I pick JK first, because they are awesome at what they do. A very special brewery with supreme execution. Boxer's Revenge and Noble King are a couple of my favorite brews in the nation. Their recent collaboration with Mikkeller produced awesome results.

I had a chance to visit Freetail and I am very happy that I did. I tried the wild ales and was very impressed. I just traded for a couple of Freetail bottles and I have high expectations which I think will be met.

I'll admit that I've only tried Saint Arnold's Endeavour, but I'm very picky about pale ales. This one is great.

It's great to see Texas has some major players. I have family in Texas and now I have reasons to visit bottle shops.

Did you see that West Lakeview Liquors has several different Jester King beers?

Hell yeah I did! I heard that the cooler months will probably be the only months we'll get JK at WLV. This might just be due to the extreme heat of this past summer. Nobody wanted to risk any negative effects to the brews due to heat during transportation.

I would like to know what you've had from each of those breweries, because I feel you're trying to trick me somehow...

    Dear Scott,

Please excuse the above 6 of 7 BAs who omitted Freetail from their "rankings." They know not what they have done

Real Ale needs more love. I guess you guys haven't tried as many Mysterium Verum beers as I have, but they are easily a top 4 Texas brewery along with Freetail, Jester King and Karbach.

I'm curious how much time will pass until a certain BA known for irrational hate against all TX breweries sees this thread and takes a dump in here...
