And this gets revised each time...
See what I posted above on the current situation.

How do the Ice cream truck releases go? Is it just a mobile can release?

Are you referring to the one this weekend?

Last time, back in January, the truck made 3 stops- Baltimore (Max's), Gaithersburg (Downtown Crown), and DC (Brookland Pint). I went to the one in Baltimore, got in line at 9:00am for a 10:00am release, and cans sold out probably 20 or so people after me. FWIW, each can was available at their taproom in Cambridge the following Wednesday.

At Max's, cans were purchased inside the bar and you handed your receipt to the guys outside on the ice cream truck to pickup your allotment, pretty smooth the way they handled everything

While they haven't confirmed the locations yet for the 3/31 release, I would bet it's Max's and probably DTC again.

I’ll be in town next week and have a few questions.

With the presale tickets, I assume you can just come by any time on the 19th and pick up your cans? Are there still bottle shares going strong now with the ticketed release deal and if so usually what time?

Also, I know this isn’t the spot for it but how crazy are the Burley Oak releases? I guess trying to strategize my Saturday if I decide to try and get cans from both places.

    Thanks in advance!

You can pick up on Sat 1/19 between 11-10ish and Sunday 12-9ish.

The shares are no longer a thing.

Burley releases go crazy last summer, like you had to be in line by 4-5am to get what you wanted. Now, it's slacked off a little, so you can get there later...maybe even afternoon and there is some available. But if you truly want Jreams, gotta get there by 9. You can grab some of the others at the bar around 2, but not the Jreams. Their shares are outrageous too...lots and lots of beer and good stuff, if you like drinking at 6 am.

I’m coming into town on a goose hunting trip so won’t be anywhere near there at 6am. If the bird cooperate and we are done early that morning then I may try and head over around noon and grab some cans and a few pours before heading back to RAR to pick up presale cans.

    Thanks for the info!
