I'm in Southern California and have only tried a couple of the Rare Barrel offerings, all of which I liked. It appears that there is a release this Friday and I'm tempted to fly up since RB looks like "my kind" of brewery. Anyone have any info on whether this is going to be a zoo? Anyone have any further info on bottles available etc? I'd appreciate any information. I'd love to have an excuse to take the day off and go up!
As I understand, Hypnotized is not being released in bottles this weekend. Per the Founders email I received, "Note - Hypnotized, our first Echo Series release, will be available on draft this Friday at 4PM" The bottle releases have been very smooth with bottles hanging around for at least a couple of hours. The biggest release was this past weekend for a collaboration beer called On the Shoulders of Giants. Follow them on Instagram and Facebook to hear about upcoming releases. Any details about the release will be discussed in length on their blog.
I believe you are referring to the "echo series" and it is available for draft only. However, the beer they released in bottles last weekend, "On the Shoulder of Giants," looks to be still available (Limit 2 per person).
I got there at about 4 pm. It was easy parking and they had a TON of beer left to sell. Got a couple glasses of beer, a sandwich, relaxed for an hour. bought the beer and left. It was rather enjoyable. Everything at that time was well laid out.
IMO this beer seems like an experiment, one of which i am most certain to growler and am really excited to try. Not sure it is a fly in event!?!
I'd be surprised if this is the growler fill this weekend. Been wrong before, though. Def not worth flying in unless you have money coming out of your butthole.
Per their email yesterday: "Hypnotized will be on tap this Friday at 4PM and available for Founder's Fills all weekend."
