Rare IPAs in Vancouver area

    My buddy challenged me to find three awesome IPAs he hasn't tried yet for a tasting on Tuesday. He works in a liquor store and recently picked up some beers on a trip to Seattle, so I feel like I haven't got a chance. Any suggestions, though?

    I'll be making a trip to Legacy, Firefly and/or Brewery Creek, but I'm not sure what I'll be able to find. I'm definitely open to visiting local breweries, but I'm not sure where to go. It would probably have to be either a brewery that's new enough that my buddy hasn't had a chance to try their beer yet, or a brewery that's just released a new IPA.

    He hasn't had a lot of beer from Eastern Canada besides the most obvious ones. On my next trip to Nova Scotia, I definitely plan on bringing back beers from Boxing Rock and maybe North, but of course, that doesn't help me any right now.

    Twin Sails Space Armadillo, Steamworks Flagship IPA, driftwood raised by wolves, Tofino cosmic wave, Boombox might have something on at Callister, there's at least a couple dozen or so fresh hops out or coming out this week. Four Winds Vexxilum is out again too. It's kinda like Hoppy Christmas right now.

    Is Space Armadillo out? I checked their website and it says coming soon.

    Boombox has a fresh hop IPA out now. I'm planning to go to Callister for that one. I was hoping they'd have more than one IPA, as I've personally never had anything from Callister.

    Do you know where I can get Tofino Cosmic Wave? I can think of several places that stock Tofino, but I've never seen that particular beer.

    Space Armadillo is out at the brewery and I have seen it at denman wine and spirits and brewery creek. Not sure about Cosmic Wave.

    Armadillo hit many stores, all the usual suspects, i'd call around to check stock before making a trip. Same with Cosmic Wave, that one just came out, but I think this is the 2nd time (from what I've heard much better this batch)

    Thanks folks. Brewery Creek had Space Armadillo and the Cosmic Wave. They also had Red Collar IPA, Field House Eastern IPA, and the new Powell Street fresh hopped IPA, but I went American instead and got Melvin and Moylander.
