I may be in the wrong place, but! I hope you could perhaps advise me on where the right place may be.

I have come into possession of a rare vintage beer through the passing of a relative.

It is an original can of tiger beer specifically presented to the armed forces. Tiger won its gold medal label in1962 and first produced canned beer in this type of can in 1965. However it is also imprinted with "for armed forces only" in the top. And "duty unpaid" I cannot find another one like it anywhere on the Internet.

I have found videos and information about the relationship with the British armed forces and tiger beer. I have found a museum with one similar can encased in glass.

I usually find rare old cans have all been opened somehow, and depending on how they have been opened affects their worth..

This can has never been opened and actuallystill contains the original product.

Any advice at all would be much much appreciated.

What type of advice are you seeking? Value, collectibility, what to do with it, other?

I am wondering it's value mainly, if its worth something I'd like it valued and for to end up in the right hands. If it's not worth anything then I can store it on display or something!

    Thank you for your reply

These photos are from the brewery's collection, that I think you said you already found.

It's almost identical but it's a pull top and the armed forces writing its actually imprinted in the metal. And obviously the beer is inside.

I have sent an email to them hoping for a reply.

I spoke to a drink antique company but they only deal in spirits.. I have seen a lot about collectable beer online but can't actually contact many. I'm not sure I'm looking in the right places!
