Rating Scale Issue???

    The rating scale goes from 3 (okay) to 4 (outstanding) with three tiers in the middle (divided into quarters). I was thinking of sending a BM to the brothers, but wanted to solicit some feedback before doing so. My issue: it seems there is a gap between "okay" and "outstanding". An okay beer is one that in my mind is kinda lame....where the designation of outstanding is huge leap from there. I think there needs to be a broadening of the designation. Please discuss...

    This is not an issue. It's intentional and has already been discussed several times in other threads.

    You're also trying to redefine "okay" ... which doesn't mean "kinda lame."
