Rating the look: do you include packaging or not?

    When rating a beer do people tend to include their perception of the tin/bottle in the rating of the look ? Judging by the look of the beer is understandable, it's the first thing you experience about it directly, and for me it creates expectations of what's to come but the packaging has already gone some way to set that expectation at least unconsciously.

    No, packaging doesn’t affect the beer’s appearance. But I do think there’s other threads where we talk about design and packaging.
