I can't recall any of Ratio's beers. I have been there so I know I've tried em but nothing left an impression. Westbound is my second favorite brewery(Trve is the best, fight me) in the state so I am excited to see what he brings to ratio.

I've been to Ratio exactly twice, but I have been very pleased each time so I am not sure why that number isn't much higher. My most recent visit was about six weeks ago and I really enjoyed their Scotch Ale and a hazy, plus, Genius Wizard was on tap and that was absolutely incredible.

I'm a Ratio fan. No clue where I'd rank them or anything, but I like their beers and their patio. Their most famous beer is Dear You. It's a "normal" sacc saison that has a ton of citrus character from the yeast and dry hopping. It reminds me a little of Hill Farmstead's flavor profile even if it's a totally different style of beer than what HF makes. It's a sleeper for the best flagship in town and there's not much like it anywhere else. Beyond that they almost always have a rye scotch ale, IPA, and an extra pale ale. I've had a pretty rockin' Czech dark lager from them a couple times, too. Genius Wizard is pretty damn good if you want something geekier. About the only weird thing about Ratio is how young the crowd is :stuck_out_tongue:. I don't think I've ever not been the oldest person there...and not just by a couple years either. Even 2012 DBC had a few old timers around.
