Green Flash is new to Maine, which means I've just recently been able to start drinking Rayon Vert like it's going out of style. I absolutely fucking adore this beer. As far as I'm concerned, I'll never buy Orval again when I can get 4 bottles of this for $10.

    Thoughts?

I think it's a good brew! I might have to crack open a bottle later tonight.....

Hopefully they will! They're hoppy beers are extremely impressive as well.

I love it also, but for some reason the several Wegmans near me never have it and almost always have Orval.

I love this beer and bought it regularly when it was in 4 packs. I'm far less stoked about it now that it's in bombers (I don't drink too frequently these days and have a low tolerance, so a bomber is too much for myself, and I'll usually break out something from the cellar if I have company). Hopefully they'll start selling both, but I'm not holding my breath

Ow, sorry. I got on the wrong thread. I thought this was the Rayon Vert tastes icky thread. I honestly don't see what the love fest is for. What qualities am I not getting? I'm willing to look at it again from a different angle.

I'll drink West Coast IPA all day but I couldn't get into the Rayon Vert, just lacked something and didn't seem to finish right on the palate. I give them an A for effort but they've had better offerings imo.

I'm guessing you guys don't appreciate brett very much. This beer is divine, the citrusy, slightly spicy hops play off the peppery, funky brett beautifully

I found it to be an extremely enjoyable beer... and quite breathtakingly beautiful to boot:

Delicious stuff. I wasn't blown away at first, but kept coming back to it. One of the few beers I regularly buy 4 packs of.

It is a fantastic BPA/Saison hybrid with all the best qualities of each. Great thread!

I'll agree this is a fantastic beer; definitely for brett lovers, but with an ample dose of hops. It's basically a west coast highly-hopped version of Orval. Very crisp and clean and also quite complex.

I just had my first one last night and I must say it was delicious. I can see myself crushing a case of this pretty fast.
