I had my mind blown by Boulevard Saison Brett this weekend and I think I'm going on a brett kick right now, or at least a kick of dry saisons. What's available in this area? The only ones I could think of were Bruery Saison de Lente (which I bought last week) and Victory Helios (which I don't think even has brett, but it has similar characteristics). Maybe Jolly Pumpkin as well but I really tend to shy away from them at $13.99 a bottle. Am I missing anything obvious?

Lavery Liopard Oir is a good saison with brett... and a bit less expensive.

    and Orval

You can get Russian River in Philly. Sanctification comes to mind. A bit on the expensive side, but a solid option.

Wow, I need to start reading labels. For some reason I thought Rayon Vert was a barleywine. Thanks for the tip.

hope you enjoy it.. it's fantastic... if you get a chance to cross into NJ and look for any Anchorage beers I would recommend all their offerings.

Well, Victory Helios sure tastes like it has Brett in it to me.

A BA once posted that McKenzie Brewpub uses Brett when bottling their Saison Vautour. The reviews on BA seem to confirm that: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/1872/39269

    Cheers!

I would think with all the saisons Stillwater makes that they would use brett in a couple of em.

The Stillwater Premium's cool - it's an adjunct lager that's secondary-fermented with brett.

Of course, of course, how could I forget Orval? I think that immediately jumped to the top of my list for weekend purchases. Haven't had it in quite a while.

I'm with Os...if you come across anything from Anchorage definitely pick them up. A bit pricey but I've been impressed with all their beers.

Do you happen to know of any liquor stores near Fieldsboro/Bordentown? I'm going to my brother's house in a few weeks. Closest I found was Canal's in Hainesport but that's a bit out of my way.

I'm not familiar with that area but I'd definitely like to know if anyone has seen any Anchorage in Jersey recently...I'm down to my last bottle of Love Buzz and the two places I had seen it at are out.

I don't know what you consider "recently" but a few months ago I saw some at WineWorks in Marlton. They looked to be collecting dust. I was unfortunately on my way to Atlantic City and not particularly interested in spending that much on beer.

Wow, what an awesome suggestion. This beer is exactly what I was looking for. I can't believe I have walked past it on the shelf so many times. I might have to see if the Beer Yard has any cases.

Stillwater Premium is also brewed with it. If you look toward various saisons you can find it in a lot of them with varying degrees of intensity. Goose Island Sofie has just a touch of brett (from what I've read and I can definitely pick it up a bit).
