Has anyone had any since it was released as a year-round offering. I don't know if it is just ultra fresh but HOLY SMOKES this stuff is amazing!!! I remember getting it last year and thinking that it was okay. Have they changed the recipe? My go to for the summer along with Zoe for sure.
I'm like you I had it last year and thought it was just ok. I think I'll give it another shot. I'm also going to pick up Zoe, haven't had it yet.
had a pint at BB rovers KBS tapping and it was definitely amazing. and its not usually a go to type for me.
That is what I thought the first year I tried it and then the second year really fell in love with it. Maybe there is something about it that takes a couple years to love.
Yeah this is good. I don't think I was too fond of the hops before. Glad I was promted to try this again.
With so many people having the same experience between last year's and this, it makes me wonder if they did change something.
They changed nothing (my honest and uninformed opinion!). It's just as delicious as last year's. I think with last year, some people slept on this and allowed it to sit a little too long. With my experience, the cans that lingered on shelves for a bit too long were less tasty.
Could be very true. With it now being year-round I hope that this is less of an issue. I need to look at the bottom of the can and see if they date them.
They do stamp at date on them but it is a best by date. Website says the date varies from beer to beer so I'm not sure how long they think it's good on the shelf for. I think most breweries that do a best by date usually do 90-120 days from packaging. This beer was my go to summer beer last summer and it will be this summer along with Boiler Room.
Finally found some here in the borderlands. I was afraid I had romanticized and overhyped the memory of it in my mind. Nope, super tasty. It seemed a bit darker than I remember, though.
Nice... I'll give it another go... I wasn't a huge fan last year.... just had one can though.. will buy another soon.
