So, what is your opinion on this one? Personally, I think the aroma and flavor are great, while the bitterness is not as biting as I like out of a double IPA. Still quite enjoyable and easy to drink.

I wasn't too impressed with it until I got the chance of drinking it on-tap. It's probably my second favorite Texas double IPA next to Endeavor

I found the hops a bit muted, but that may be a function of having my tongue destroyed by west coast IPAs lately.

I don't mind when an IPA leans malty now and again. Good stuff.

I thought it was pretty astringent at first. I enjoyed the 4-pack, but I would not purchase it again.

The alcohol is only a little more than 7%, which some regular IPA's have more alcohol. If you don't over think it, and don't get hung up on "style" guidelines, it is more similar to Torpedo, and a very good beer. That being said, California Common is superb, and needs to be year round.
