Have you had a can Landon? It's not as Limey to me as it was on draft.

Had some last night, I thought it had a ton of lime to it.

It kind of reminded me of a lime radler. It was in between other bottles, I need to try it again.

Yeah, I bought a sixer. I realize buying a beer that says lime on it and then saying I don't like the lime aspect is my own fault...I just wish it could've been more subtle and balanced. But like I said, I'll try it at least five more times.

Oh it's still Limey, just wasn't as bad as draft to me. Sending a bunch out as extras.

Exactly what I thought and I'm not a fan. Too much lime/fruit compared to something like Westbrook or AV's goses.

If you try another one and don't like it, drop the other 4 off at my house. I'll give you the garage code and you can put them right in my beer fridge

Let me bring you mine... I like it, I just want that garage code for accessing the beer fridge.

Was expecting something more salty like the Westbrook Gose, but instead to me this one tasted like a more lemony version of their White..

Put some salt in it. I'm gonna try that when it makes it down here. Hooray for salty Christmas gose.

Meh, it was ok. Way to limey (sorry to the Irish on the board).

But if some like it, totally understandable. I'll try one more and send the others out as extra as someone suggested.

The WB sets the standard IMHO, so we expect something like on the saltier side, not the tang. Wu or otherwise. Just not my thing.

"Limey" is a pejorative for British not Irish. That sucks that it's so limey. I was hoping for an easily obtainable gose for the summer. Oh well, back to the trading board.

leipziger gose got label approval, if you can handle a traditional to style gose that's subtle and not way over the top, like we americans are wrought to like

Anderson Valley's gose is awaiting label approval for Texas. I prefer it to RA Gose so hopefully it arrives soon. I still will drink the hell out of RA gose even if I wish the lime was a bit more subdued.

I was wondering what was going on with AV version and why we haven't seen it yet.

No one's sleeping on it, it's just a limited, draft-only release in DFW and right now, mostly limited to the greater FW area.

Westbrook's is my favorite gose but it doesn't set the standard. It sets the upper limit

I'm not sure if I should buy a case of Real Ale or a case of AVBC KYH Gose!
