i've seen these in stores priced at $15.99 a 4 pack, or $3.89 each, I was like wtf? why would I buy a 4 pack?
Still plenty of 2011 on the shelf in Fort Worth. Such a tasty ageable Texas BW, the new packaging is very well done.
This is still all over. Spec's Brodie still had some last time I checked, South Lamar W&S has 4-packs, and Whole Foods Downtown has singles in the beer cave. Generally it's more a sitter than a mover. Heck, I know a place that still has 2010 on the shelves!
Sisyphus usually runs about $4 a bottle, so $16 a 4pk is about average. Though I would of liked to see it a lil cheaper.
I've seen it the other way around. Stores are starting to charge $16 for the 4pack and more than $4 for singles. So the 4pack only means a price increase for singles? I've seen this at specs too where prices are usually lower than most places.
Out the door with cash was $17.31. I would of bought a couple of singles and more 12 Stone RIS. They had about 4 more bottles of the Stone RIS in stock.
This has been out for 4 or so months. Honestly it's the worst of the Sisyphus so far. I'm betting age will help.
This is my favorite beer and I'm excited that they sell it in 4 packs. Is it just me or do the even number years seem to be a bit fruitier and the odd number years a bit more hoppy?
Agreed about even years have more fruit flavor. Unfortunately this years had pineapple flavor (good) and a hint of cardboard (bad).
