Reason users can't 'add' beers without full review?

    Just curious as to why adding a beer requires a full review. I don't feel comfortable enough reviewing a beer but there are multiple beers I'd like to add to BA's database, and give a had rating. Is there any chance this could be considered, or is there a worry that allowing this would somehow be detrimental to Beeradvocate?

    This has been addressed several times in the past.

    We do realize there's a demand for this functionally, but we won't be allowing adding beers without reviewing them until the site redesign, at which point we plan to launch a new method of handling beer entries. Until then the current rules apply.
