Hey guys, I have the following ingredients left and am looking for any ideas to use them up. This is for a 5.5 gallon batch. 10 pounds of Golden promise 5 pounds of light German Munich 1 pound of dark English crystal 5 pounds of Vienna 8 ounces of hallertau mittelfrueh 2 packets of US05 I was thinking of a mocktoberfest or mock pilsner. Just throw them all together and brew a Junkyard Ale. I've done that once before, and it turned out to be a pretty good beer.
They all play well together in the right ratios, I humbly suggest; 10# GP, 2# Munich, 5# Vienna and 1# dark crystal. Use hops in every stage of the game, mash, first wort, boil, and whirlpool. Hoptoberfest!
