My brother is coming back to the states from Germany in a few weeks and offered to grab a few beers for me along with what he's bringing back for himself. As I've never been to Europe, let alone Germany, I have no clue what to ask for. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. He said nothing crazy expensive or that he'd have to hunt down all over the country to find. Thanks!
It might sound harsh, but as long as he's staying there, don't really bother with beer. The local common stuff there is ok-ish, Park for instance has a nice unfiltered Spezial and a enjoyable Bock, but in my opinion, nothing there is really worth hunting down. And the bavarian stuff aviable there should be aviable in the US as well....
