Try Gumballhead for a wheat beer, it is fantastic. Do not let anyone tell you that 80 acre Hoppy wheat is similar...they aren't even close. All the locals I visit try to sell hoppy wheat when they are out of Gumballhead.

As for sours you are on your own as they certainly aren't my thing...

Schlafly Pumpkin Ale. Everything a pumpkin ale should be. If it doesn't change your mind, it may just be a style you don't enjoy.

I'm in the same boat as @imhoudinibitch. I don't like quads, I've only had a couple and Three Philosophers was my favorite of the bunch I think they might be too sweet for me but there is so,etching I can't put my finger on.

If you can find it and are otherwise an IPA fan, try Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye.

Unfortunately most of my dislikes have been discussed. The styles that do confound me the most are fruit beers and smoked beers, however.

Try some Samuel Smith Fruit varieties.

For me, I have never been into lagers.

Not big into lagers either, however Sam Adams Boston Lager and SN Vienna Lager (from the Fall Pack) were not too shabby... can't say that I hunt lagers down like I do with IPAs and Stouts though...

I like porters all right, but not as much as their darker brethren... any good porter suggestions to blow my mind?

Boston Lager and SN Vienna aren't bad, but they aren't very pleasing to me for some reason

Most properly Belgian quads/strong darks are not that sweet, especially compared to other styles with similar alcohol levels like imperial stouts or barleywines. The use of candi sugar or other adjuncts during fermentation reduces the total amount of residual unfermented malt sugars.

I'll second St Bernardus ABT 12 with a bit of time on it; I would say two years. I'll also throw in Chimay Blue with a year or two on it, Pannepot and Boulevard Sixth Glass. My favorite is probably Gouden Carolus Cuvee Van de Kaizer Blue but that one is more on the sweet side.

I'm not sure what you mean by blow your mind. Porters aren't sprinters- they're horses you ride all night long. Still, there are some that give better rides than the rest .

Anchor Porter is a classic, and still one of the best as far as I'm concerned. So mulit-faceted; great yeast signature, great malt quality, great balance between hops and roast.

English classics are Samuel Smith's Taddy Porter and Fuller's London Porter. Look for impeccable balance and fruity/nutty overtones in these.

My new squeeze is that Einstok Toasted Porter from Iceland, so maybe try that one too. It's full flavored and velvety, and the rustic bread-like qualities start to come on the more you have it.

Cuvee van de kaizer is probably the worst belgian beer i've had. How old was the one your drank? I had mine at about 6 months and it was basically like drinking super sugary milk. It was awful. After i had it i read that people recommend aging them for 4-5 years before drinking them to cut down on the sweetness.

Lots of different wheat beers. Classic Hefe's are the ones I suspect you are talking about. Ever had a wheat wine? Those are bid malty bombs. Try one of those.
