Recommend a not-bitter porter

    My favorite porter is Founder's Porter, which I think is remarkably smooth. I also love London Porter, but I think that it's a little thin... If you're looking for something with an *almost* sweet edge. Terrapin has a peanut butter chocolate porter called "Liquid Bliss". Peanut butter on the nose and more noticeable as the drink reaches room temperature.... Oh so delicious to me!

    How has no one mentioned Everett porter yet? Chocolately and earthy and smokey. Best Porter on earth really.

    Yeah, that's what immediately came to my mind. Of course, you have to go to VT and either stand in line at Hill Farmstead or find a bar that has it on draft. Still, it really is the best porter I've ever had...

    Other than that, Baltic Porter is your friend - maltier/sweeter than your regular porter. An outstanding example is Sinebrychoff Porter.

    Definitely try Berkshire coffeehouse porter if you ever make it up to New England!

    GLBC Edmund Fitzgerald, BP Victory at Sea and Black Marlin Porter, Short's Publican Porter, Revolution Bean Gene, Hoppin Frog Cafe Silk Porter, and Flying Dog Gonzo are all good choices IMHO
