    Hey guys,

I have some friends flying into Nashville, So I will be heading up there in a few weeks. Do you guys have any recommendations of places to go to and see? I know they have some Breweries and restaurants up there, but which ones should we go to? Also, is there a cool part of town, you can just walk around find a good beer spot and enjoy the sights? Only going to be there a couple of nights, so probably won’t get to everything. Appreciate your help, Thanks

Broadway is the main tourist drag in Nashville. Plenty of places to choose for food but I'd recommend ACME Feed & Seed for a decent beer selection and great music and food. A few blocks up is Broadway Brewhouse (not a brewery) with a better selection but limited atmosphere. You should also check out Robert's Western World, not a beer stop but the only true remaining honky tonk in my opinion, and stop in at someplace like Boot Country just to see what they've got as well. In that area, north of ACME Feed & Seed you've also got the Beersellar up on Church. If you see a bus driving around with loud music coming out of it you might want to jump on to see Interstellar Transmissions perform a song or two and then get dropped off right back on the strip.

If you can travel around I'd suggest you hit up some BBQ at Peg Leg Porter, Martin's, or Edley's... all fairly near Jackalope and Yazoo Brewing. Further out I liked the Black Abbey, and Bearded Iris is good too.

To the north is Pharmacy Burger which is worth a stop if you can get there, and there's a great taco place right across the street. The Hop Stop is up that way as well.

You'll have to do some homework on when places are open and such but the "places" section here will give you all of the links. Have fun! Oh, and don't forget Prince's Hot Chicken if you can.

Hoping to build off of this thread. I'm coming in for the ravens/titans game this weekend and was wondering if the stadium has any decent beer options or if it's going to be the normal macro stuff. Ravens stadium has a bunch of local offerings so I was hoping to see something similar.

    Thanks!

I had a great time at Southern Grist. Great beer and fun, laid-back atmosphere.

Bearded Iris- Best IPAs in TN and top of the south - In germantown where you can have a ton of restaurants such as: City house (james beard awarded italian/american), Von El Rod- Beer garten and sausage, Jack browns- burgers and craft beer.
Southern Grist- Best variety of beers and nice quaint taproom - neighborhood feel
Smith & Lentz- German style beers and IPAs. Ping pong and open taproom.

Craft brewed: 30-40 taps, bottle shop growler fill place where you can get pints and flights, ranked high on BA.

Broadway for all the honky tonks: Roberts western world oldest and cheap, paradise park ( late night grub and a trailer park theme, acme for rooftop view

Midtown has a lot of cool bars- close to vandy think more local and some college vibes. Kungfoo, red door, rebar are all cool bars.

East nashville has tons of dives, check five points for bars, etc as well as Dino's for late night burgers and beer.

    Breakfast:
Riverside girl shack, big Al's deli, biscuit love, Nashville biscuit house

I just went a couple weeks ago, Southern Grist will be my #1 stop on my list when I go again. Will also go back to Bearded Iris as well. Go to ACME for lunch or dinner one day, if you go for dinner get there early, and when you get done eating go up to the roof top and enjoy the great view. Puckett's is great for breakfast, just a couple blocks(short walk from downtown Broadway)

Afraid not. Besides the obvious options, Yee-Haw, Sierra Nevada, Sweetwater, and Goose Island are available at the stadium. Yazoo was there last year, but can't recall seeing it this year.

Appreciate the input. Guess it's Sierra nevada for the game and then bearded iris afterwards. Love the hospitality down here.
