Hi guys, I'm going to a wedding in Reston next weekend but we're heading down to DC on Wednesday for The National show at Anthem. I'll be in DC Wednesday through Friday afternoon, then moving to Reston, VA. Was looking for opinions on the best spots to go. It seems like Aslin is close to Reston but has no onsite consumption. I'll probably swing by there but ideally would like to try a place or two with a taproom. Thanks in advance.

When you're in Reston, consider heading out to Ocelot, Solace and/or Crooked Run (15-25 min depending on traffic). There are some other breweries in that area that I haven't tried, such as Rocket Frog and Dynasty.

There are some recent DC threads you can check out but Churchkey is going to be the #1 recommendation.

Not exactly BA style but the anthem has happy hour for cheaper beers from the time doors open till the opening act starts. If you like the opening act and want to get a couple in for a few less bucks it's a decent deal.

Also if you need food or drinks before the show the Brighton is next door. You won't be wowed by the beer list but can certainly find something to have.

I went to a restaurant there called The Partisan. Had a great taplist and I see they currently have a couple of Tired Hands on tap and another from The Veil.
