I will have a few days in town.

    Where should I eat?

    Drink?

    Find NC local bottles?

    Thanks!

Christies euro pub has a decent bottle selection and maybe 6-8 drafts(?).
Greenville is a big college party town, not much going on craft beer wise there sadly

You're about 20 minutes away from Duck-Rabbit's brewery and taproom. They usually don't have anything all that limited on, but if you have never had their beer it's probably worth a visit. They're only open from 3-9 p.m. on Friday nights, though.

You're 40 minutes from Mother Earth Brewing in Kinston. They have a pretty impressive taproom, if you're interested in making the trip.

Sorry I can't help with recommendations for Greenville itself!

Aside from what's been mentioned, the only other place I can think of is Winslow's Deli. Great food, decent beer selection.

I agree with Winslow's Deli as a spot for a great lunch and a couple of NC beers available.

Christy's is the best place for food and beer. Only 6-8 taps, but it's usually all good stuff and cheaper than elsewhere. Winslow's food is pretty meh and overall service is bad, but they have a bottle shop in the back which has the best selection of beer in town. If you're still around today, Peasant's Pub does $2 drafts on Sundays (or at least they used to) and the selection is pretty good.

Don't know if you've made it down to Greenville yet, Mother Earth just posted this on Facebook:

"Greenvile fans, don't forget about our Mother Earth BrewBus that runs every Saturday to Kinston! For more information or to make reservations email [email protected]"

I always forget that they do that, but the bus is normally pretty packed
