We are staying right by Madison square park starting today and would greatly appreciate any bottle shop suggestions or bars/pubs we should check out. I have read some old posts but there seems to be quite a few and I'm not all that familiar with the area. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for replies! I found the massive thread shortly after posting and felt pretty dumb for creating yet another thread about NYC help!
Don't worry about it - we tried to get it stickied to no avail. Thankfully @Kanger and the other contributors made it in the first place, and we're all thankful that we have it as a resource now! BTW, if you bring some tasty SC beers with you, I'm sure one of us would love to set up an IP trade.
