I'm traveling to NYC for about 5 days in March. First time there. Staying around 48th and Lexington. Is there any places that I absolutely need to visit? I've looked into the Blind Tiger and Gramercy to drink a little, but I'd like some more places to put on my list. As far as bottle shops go, I'd love to do some shopping there and fill my suitcase up with precious bottles so any recommendations on shops would be greatly appreciated as well. I've heard Bierkraft is good, but the prices are a little high. Thanks.
Just saw this thread: http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/best-bottle-shop-in-nyc-manhattan.65213/ So I think I'm set on bottle shops.
