Anyone have any recommendations for great craft beer bars in Red Bank, NJ? Good food too would be a plus. But I'm more concerned about finding a good beer place. Any leads would be appreciated.

Unless things have changed very recently, there isn't really a great craft beer spot in RB.

Jamian's usually has 077XX or another Carton beer on in my experience, and I think last time I was at Wall Street Pub they had Mad Elf and potentially another Troegs beer on. Overall not a lot going on there craft beer-wise.

I like Pazzo in Red Bank a lot for food.

Wow, that really isn't a whole lot. Of the two (Jamian's, Wall Street Pub), which has a more extensive craft selection? In other words, which has more craft beer offerings? Thanks for the reply, by the way.

Do you need to stay in Red Bank? Asbury Park looks to be about a 20 minute drive. Brickwall Tavern is there. It's a little pricy, but I've always enjoyed it. Not to mention the fact that you're right in between Kane and Carton - but obviously no food there. That's all I got for you. I'm not all that familiar with the area. All's I know is that coming home from AC, I've always wanted to stop for food/a beer or two halfway home and that's about halfway for me and have never really been able to find anything.

EDIT: Uh, yeah. Didn't mention this. You're also about 20 minutes away from Maloney's in Matawan. I've never been, but always sounded very appealing. I think they have like 100 taps or something.

Maloney's is a great place. It's confusing in a way as it's a locals bar crowd filled with craft beer and irish themes. Huge upside is they have great beer there that's easily available. They once had BCBS cherry rye on tap that lasted for over a week. It's deff worth checking out. Plus the food is great too.
