You MUST go to Ye Olde Forge - not far from that area, great wings (they take a while) and great beer selection.

If you go through Lee - there is Moe's Tavern (bar) and Trader Moe's (store)

If you want to slide over to NY, there is a brewery called The Beer Diviner. Wandering Star in Pittsfield is a good brewery that has hours on Saturday.

 

(The link posted in message #2 is very helpful) I always put a vote in for a visit to The Forge when people are in the area. Since that's been covered, there is a new spot on North St in Pittsfield called Methuselah Bar. They just opened about a month ago and its a pretty cool looking spot with light fare, killer cocktails/wine, and they're making a strong effort to put up a wide selection of craft on their ~16 taps. You could facebook them to see if that'd be something you're into after hitting the snow. I'd also recommend Liquors Inc on Dalton Ave in Pittsfield to grab beers for the room, or Spirited in Lenox if you are coming up from the pike.
