4th day/cycle of soaking (145F water, double strength PBW + OxyClean). Not one of the Cantillon labels has come off. The 3F & Mikkeller were off in like 15 minutes. How can they have this BOMB PROOF adhesive but corks that shatter if you look at them sideways?

Their glue must not be water soluble, i would try something like vinegar or maybe acetone? not sure which would work best but some sort of solvent i would think would work.

With all of that soaking it's also obvious that the label is not paper and is probably vinyl or plastic of some sort. (I have not tried this on any Cantillon labels, so I'm just guessing at this procedure because it works for other vinyl labels that I've peeled.)

This will take some time for you to clean the entire batch of bottles, but if you put 1-2 off them in the microwave for 30-60 seconds to heat the glue, then you should be able to slowly peel the label from one corner. Have some paper handy because the glue will come off with the label and you'll need to stick it to the paper. Then trim the paper around the edge of the label.

Some labels just don't want to come off. If mine don't come off after 3 hours, they go into the recycle bin.

I just removed a label from a cantillon a few days ago. nothing fancy, I soaked it in water for a day or two, used my fingernails to sort of scrape the label off, and then scrubbed the glue off with steel wool, it was fairly easy. This is my usual procedure for every bottle. I remember the label coming off like crap, I usually try to pull them off intact and save for some future art project of some sort. Definitely can't do that with cantillon labels.

Or just use my method of leave the labels on and label the caps.
