Quite a disappointing tap list, but I do plan on being there bright and early so I can get a good afternoon of hiking in.

It's gonna be a cold one. I'm not excited.

I'm skipping this release so I don't have a dog in this but I think you'll be SOL if you get there at 8:30.... probably anyone there after 6 will be risking not getting bottles based on times I'm hearing people are getting there and the rumored bottle count

It's 5:48 and there is 100 ppl in line. You won't get any if you get here at 8:30 IMO.

Yeah, the amount of salt on Instagram is ridiculous.

I was 27th in line. Beer lived up to the hype for me personally.

I was 103. I thought they did a great job with the release. The beer is very good and surpassed my expectations.

Me too. Just allowing people to go in as they bought the beer was perfect. Rewarding the folks that got there first. Great job by WW.

I think Wicked Weed did a fantastic job today.

The couple of rotten apples in the crowd and the few trolls on social media definitely left something to be desired though.

I hope Wicked Weed further takes today as a lesson that particular beer folks can't seem to handle limited releases on their own and need tickets to be well behaved, not leave a mess and actually listen to directions.

Lining up at midnight, openly drinking in line, and purchasing bottles second hand on Wicked Weed property is only going to hurt us craft enthusiasts in the long run.

That's a real shame to hear about. I got there around 8 and was obviously near the back. I wasn't sure I'd get anything (I heard counts of around 240 near where I was standing), but until the wristbands were handed out, who could tell for sure. My main disappointment was they only handed out 20 unnumbered bands. The posts by WW on social media didn't imply that these would be limited, which would at least allow anyone waiting in the cold a chance to have early access to their special taps. So much for that! Kudos to those early risers. Clearly they wanted it more than I did! :stuck_out_tongue:
